This handheld device is used to measure eye pressure during your visit. Elevated eye pressure can indicate a risk for glaucoma and is essential in monitoring ocular health. The iCare is painless and easy for our patients, and does not require drop instillation or a puff of air!

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

Optical Coherence Tomography uses light waves to take cross-section images of your retina, which is the area of light-sensitive cells at the back of your eye that is responsible for receiving light and transmitting it into messages that are sent up to the brain. The technology behind OCT enables your eye doctor to see each of the different layers that make up the retina. By being able to see these and measure them, they can obtain a much clearer picture of the overall health and condition of your eyes.

Retinal Imaging

Retinal images are reviewed by doctors during your exam, allowing them to compare them year-to-year for any changes. Primarily, we utilize these images to monitor various conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, hypertension, macular degeneration, detachments, and lesions, enabling precise tracking of your eye health over time.

Virtual Field and Humphrey Visual Field

Innovative technology that tests for peripheral (side) vision defects related to glaucoma, optic nerve disease, stroke and other neurological disorders. The "virtual reality" system has increased accuracy, efficiency and patient satisfaction during field testing. This device is also used prior to blepharoplasty, a procedure that removes excess skin from the eyelids.
